WebSeva & Sudhi

A New Chapter with Sudhi
Sudhi is one of WebSeva’s newest partner non-profits—and a deeply inspiring one.
With a legacy of over 25 years in service, Sudhi has consistently worked at the grassroots level to uplift underprivileged communities through education, food security, and compassion-driven service.
About Sudhi
Founded by Dr. Hansha Datt Bhatt in New Delhi, Sudhi has been dedicated to serving marginalized sections of society since its inception. What began as a small initiative has evolved into a powerful movement focused on nourishing minds and bodies.
One of Sudhi’s most remarkable contributions has been its efforts in feeding and educating underprivileged children. Over the years, it has also adopted two government-run schools in Uttarakhand, taking complete responsibility for their operations. These schools now provide high-quality education to rural children at a fraction of the cost, without compromising on learning outcomes or care.
Projects by Sudhi
Sudhi’s work spans multiple domains, including:
Education: Operating two adopted government schools in Uttarakhand, offering structured education, learning resources, and holistic support to rural children.
Food Security: Regular meal distribution and nutrition programs for children in urban slums and low-income communities.
Women Empowerment: Conducting training programs for women in agarbatti (incense stick) making, sewing, embroidery, and other cottage industries—helping them achieve financial independence and confidence.
Skill Development: Organizing workshops for youth and women that teach income-generating skills, digital literacy, and small-scale entrepreneurship.
Community Upliftment: Running awareness drives on hygiene, health, and education, especially in underdeveloped areas in and around Delhi.
Through these initiatives, Sudhi has impacted hundreds of families by providing tools for long-term change rather than short-term aid.
The Badri Cow Initiative
Sudhi’s newest initiative is centered around the preservation and promotion of the Badri cow—a native cattle breed from Uttarakhand known for its resilience, medicinally beneficial milk, and ecological value.
The initiative aims to:
Educate the public about the importance of the Badri cow in Indian agriculture and sustainable living.
Promote products made from cow dung and urine, such as organic fertilizers, incense sticks, and eco-friendly household items.
Support local farmers in breeding and caring for Badri cows through awareness and capacity-building programs.
The goal is to bridge ancient wisdom with modern sustainability, creating livelihood opportunities while preserving cultural heritage.
How WebSeva helped
While Sudhi already has its main organizational website, they needed a dedicated online presence for this new initiative. WebSeva stepped in to design and build a brand-new website specifically for the Badri Cow Project.
We worked closely with the Sudhi team to ensure the site:
Clearly communicates the mission, impact, and scientific basis of the initiative.
Showcases stories, product ideas, and research on the Badri cow in a clean, digestible format.
Offers an engaging, mobile-friendly experience for visitors across all devices.
Includes easy-to-manage content sections so the Sudhi team can update and expand the site as the project grows.
WebSeva continues to offer hosting, maintenance, and tech support to keep the site running smoothly—freeing up Sudhi to focus on what matters most: the work on the ground.
We are honored to be part of this journey with Sudhi and proud to contribute to an initiative that blends sustainability, tradition, and rural empowerment.
